Realistic MLP Rarity

Anyone else starting to get fed up of seeing the MLP everywhere?  I know I am.  That, and getting sick of having to explain to five year olds at my riding school that ponies are not naturally pink, that they can be very hairy, and no they don't groom themselves.

As a bit of a break from schoolwork, I decided to have a go at drawing a more realistic version of the MLPs.

Please note that I have not watched the series.  Images used as a reference to know what they look like/colour schemes came from Google Images.
